February 23, 2008 Low-Carb Menu

Eggs with mushrooms, cheese, bacon, tomatoes and sausage from Golden Corral



2:30PM
2 chicken breasts with broccoli, spinach, cauliflower, squash, mushrooms, zucchini and tomato sauce



7:00PM
Side salad with Ranch dressing, bacon, and tomatoes, filet mignon with peppercorn sauce, green beans, broccoli with butter, and chicken breast




NOTE: Cruise day, baby, and we were so ready to get on board. However, since we didn't know when we would get to eat, we met up with Christin Sherburne and her husband for breakfast at Golden Corral where we also got to meet Christin's friend Toni and her boyfriend for breakfast. After we finished that filling meal, we hopped over to the Galveston port for early boarding and I was surprised how quick and easy that process was. Once on board the ship, we were immediately offered a buffet lunch while our rooms were still being serviced. WOW, let the feast begin! We ate a little something to tide us over until dinnertime which was fabulous--filet mignon and non-starchy veggies! Oh this cruise is gonna be amazing, I know it already!!! I look forward to sharing LOTS of pictures of what I ate while on the boat. Yeppers, it's gonna be good! ;)
