NOTE: Okay, I've been back on strict Induction again for exactly one week today and I've netted a big fat goose egg for weight loss. I've been in ketosis every single day since I began and yet no weight loss despite taking out all the alleged culprits. I've even cut out most of my vitamins for a period of time except for my multivitamin to see if they are causing the weight gain. So far, that's not it. I'm really doing nothing wrong, so this is a perplexing situation indeed. I'm staying committed to this (obviously!), but it is incredibly frustrating. Today I decided to climb on board the Oopsie revolution and make these amazing little rolls that are made of eggs and cream cheese. I failed the first two times I tried to make these, but the third time was the charm. They are AMAZING and I was so glad they came out this time. It made for a fabulous bacon and cheese sandwich for lunch. :D Pressing onward with week two of my return to Induction this next week. Wish me luck!

Well, at least you didn't gain weight. Is your doc checking your thyroid?
Yes, he checked my thyroid function and it's fine and not the culprit. We're looking at a lot of things right now besides diet to see what's happening. I have eaten this way for four years, so why would this all of a sudden manifest itself if it were related to diet. My suspicion is it is not. No, I'm not gaining, but I haven't gained any weight since that initial weight gain earlier in the year when I was taking creatine in the early going of my resistance training.
