NOTE: Well, it was day one of some minor changes to my diet and I did okay. There were some little issues that came up late in the day, but I survived. :) I'll be sharing more about what I have changed specifically later, but for now you'll see in my menus a sneak peek into these changes that will make me even healthier and leaner than I've ever been. Sometimes it takes a refocus to get you going again and that's what I'm doing.

Well, so far it looks like no snack foods. All real food. Just 3 meals. Are you having cravings for pudding, bars and ice cream yet?
I have to clean up my act regarding low carb eating too. I fell off the wagon a week ago and haven't been able to pull that last leg back on.
I think the family is taking me out to brunch for mother's day so Monday, it's full on for me.
I'm looking forward to see how it goes for you.
Oh, thanks for the Cocoa nibs! I love your give-aways!
Karen B.
P.S. Thinking of going on the cruise too, just have to find a cabin-mate as dh doesn't do cruises or low carb.
You're very close, Karen! ;) I'll tell you more real soon.
You are very welcome with the contest prize you won. I love those little cacao nibs...great low-carb way to get some REAL chocolate without a lot of calories.
As for the cruise, I hope you can come and drag the old man with you. It's not a low-carb cruise with the food, so he could eat up all the garbage if he wanted to. We had a blast, so I hope you find a roomie.
Go ahead and sign up for it and we'll make sure you have someone who can room with you. Can't wait to meet you in January! :D
Looks to me like you've given up the low-carb "Frankenfoods," Jimmy. I'm happy to see you eating REAL foods, instead of all those sugar alcohols and other chemicals! I'll bet you will see an exciting change in your weight soon.
How cool that you were able to go to Dr. Westman, an actual low-carb GURU!
By the way, I'd love to go on the low-carb cruise, too, but I don't have a cabin mate either...and am a bit nervous about traveling alone.....
I can understand that. At least on the cruise itself, you'll be surrounded by friends...like me! :D
Hopefully you can come, too, Carol. Maybe you and Karen could room together?
For a period of time, Carol, to see if they are the culprit. I've also given up a couple of new supplements I added in the past few months to see if they are the culprit, too. I'm not convinced the "frankenfoods" are necessarily the issue, but we shall see.
