NOTE: I hate it when days start like this one did today. It began at around 3AM when I got up to go to the bathroom and I felt dizzy. As I was using the restroom, I noticed my stomach was gurgling and doing flip-flops unusually so. Walking back to the bed was an odd experience as the room felt like it was spinning...of course it was dark, so who knows? Anyways, when I got back to sleep and then woke up a few hours later my stomach was still hurting and I felt so nauseous. I was afraid to eat anything and wondered what I ate last night to bring this on.
Finally I got to the point where I was feeling so weak likely from NOT eating that I decided to eat a little something. Going against what I would prefer, I decided to eat a little bread to soak up the acid in my stomach that was causing me such strife. Amazingly, within moments of doing this the pain subsided and I felt well enough to eat REAL low-carb food. Don't you hate that feeling in your tummy like this? It doesn't happen often, but when it does you feel absolutely 100% rotten.
Okay, so I know you want to know the verdict on my weight loss this past week after my 15-pound weight loss last week eating half of my normal portions. You'll notice that I didn't implore that strategy as stringently this week and the result was a net zero weight loss, so I'm still at 15 pounds lost. The good news is I didn't GAIN anything this week -- so I'm still DOWN 15 pounds in 14 days. My goal this upcoming week is to try to get back to the plan like I did it the first week to see what happens. Christine and I will be going out of town next weekend to Indianapolis, but during the week I'll do my best to make do with less while NEVER allowing myself to get hungry. Wish me luck! THANKS for reading!
Oh, by the way, THANK YOU to everyone for your comments about my "controversial" book that my print-on-demand publisher is giving me a hard time about changing due to their fear of being sued. I'm still working through what I'm gonna do, but one way or another this book WILL get out there for all the world to see in 2009. The message is just too important NOT to.

Hey Jimmy... just wanted to give you some encouragement about your book. I'm glad you are not giving up - you have that NEVER give up attitude, which can be contagious.
THANK YOU Angie! One way or another, the TRUTH will get out there no matter what the obstacles. :)
