NOTE: Today was Day 7 of Week two on The 6-Week Cure For The Middle-Aged Middle by Drs. Mike and Mary Dan Eades. Can you tell I was ready for the "shakes weeks" to end and the "meat weeks" to begin? Yep, I kinda jumped the gun and rebelled a little bit today transitioning from Weeks 1-2 on this plan into the Weeks 3-4. And I'm good with that! It's been an exciting first two weeks and I'm looking forward to an even better next two weeks.

The results from two weeks of being on The 6-Week Cure speak for themselves:

Jimmy -- 15 pounds lost -- 2 inches off waist
Christine -- 4.8 pounds lost -- 1 inch off waist

WOO HOO! We lost most of the weight in Week 1, but it was an awesome experience doing this together during these past couple of weeks. Anticipation is in the air about what will happen in the next two weeks and it will be interesting this weekend since we will be attending a wedding in Nashville. Eating this way at home is hard enough, but we'll have some challenges traveling on the road. But we'll manage as we always do.

Well week 2 on the Biggest Loser is usually the week where they don't lose as much for whatever reason.

Exactly JD! And I lost so much weight in Week 1 that I sorta expected this to happen in Week 2.

I lost only 1 pound during week two, but I seemed to lose 2 pounds in the first few days of week 3, after I started eating the meat. I anticipate more fat-burning action while on the higher-calorie meat-eating weeks... I guess we'll see!?!

We've just finished week 1, going into week 2, and I hear you! We've been doing LC since 2003, but you know how it can be, carb creep and whatnot... so this is jumping into the deep end with both feet! I agree too that doing this with your DH/W is great for suppport! We're also having less loss in week 2, but I know the meat weeks will be both a blessing (FOOD!!!) and a curse (MOSTLY MEAT!) but I'm looking forward to completing the challenge and seeing the results! Good luck to you and yours too :D
