NOTE: Although I didn't get to sleep until nearly 2:00AM in the wee hours of the morning because of the men's retreat last night, I still was up bright and early at 6:30AM today. It gave me some time to catch up on a few e-mails before heading to my church today for the final week of Upward basketball. I was supposed to be in New York City today, so they were surprised to see me show up to volunteer to referee these last games. Good thing I was there, too, because they would have been one man short (it's hard enough watching for all the calls with two refs, much less only one!). Needless to say, I was EXHAUSTED from the lack of sleep and crashed after lunch.
I tried some new low-GI crisps today that I got from my friends at CarbSmart.com. They're not half bad and I like the fact they only have 2g net carbs and give me something crunchy to eat. I added a little sugar-free raspberry preserves to mine and it was fantastic. Christine got peanut butter and jelly on hers and she was in heaven. It's a nice high-fiber, low-carb snack if you're looking for something different to try.
