April 30, 2010 Low-Carb Menu

10:15AM
3 eggs cooked with 2 Tbs grass-fed butter, 1 cup raw organic spinach and 2 ounces American cheese

2:30PM
1/2 pound grass-fed ground beef burger with 2 ounces American cheddar and 1 Tbs mayo

7:00PM
3 eggs cooked with 2 Tbs grass-fed butter

CALORIES CONSUMED: 1842
DIET SODAS: 0 (ZERO!!!) 37 DAYS DIET SODA FREE!!!

NOTE: I'm in a groove with this all real foods thing and pushing my way to 60 days in a row without diet soda. I think if I can hit that mark, then I will have successfully changed my habit for good. Amazingly I've had absolutely ZERO desire for one still despite having them at my disposal. Christine enjoys drinking diet soda and they are in my refrigerator. While it could be tempting for me to pop one open when nobody is looking or around to catch me, I just don't want it. Something has happened in my head to trigger a total disdain for the stuff. I suppose it's similar to my rat poison thinking about sugar. And that's a very good thing.
