NOTE: Two things happened today with my menus. I wanted to try to bring my total intake down from where it has been the past couple of days and yet I didn't want to allow myself to get ravenously hungry either. So when I woke up and noticed I wasn't hungry, I decided to engage in a little intermittent fasting just to see how long I could go before eating. It wasn't too shabby considering I made it to early afternoon before needing to take my first bite and I wasn't ready to eat my arm because I was too famished. This I believe is a normal, natural way to consume food probably along the same lines that our hunter-gatherer forefathers engaged in. The end result for me today was still a good number of calories (not that I am counting them or care what the intake is necessarily since they have little to do with weight loss), but a reduction of nearly 25% in my intake. I'd consider that a GREAT success and another step in the right direction as I get back into the swing of things with my low-carb eating plan.
