December 27, 2010 Low-Carb Menu

2:00PM
8-ounce prime sirloin steak burger (no bun) with American cheese, mustard, mayo and pickle, mashed cauliflower with 1 Tbs butter, blondie brownie with vanilla ice cream

4:30PM
45-minute Pilates class

10:45PM
2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage links, 2 whole wheat pancakes with sugar-free syrup

NOTE: It was my birthday today and Christine surprised me with more of that blondie brownie and vanilla ice cream again. I know, twice in three days, but I decided to do it because I wanted to. It was a conscious choice and I'm good with it. With the lack of sustained weight loss with whatever I've done in 2010, things certainly couldn't get THAT worse with a couple of sugary desserts. It's cool. We even headed out to Denny's tonight to get my FREE birthday Grand Slam--cool offer and I could have certainly kept it all low-carb...but I chose to have some of their whole wheat pancakes with the sugar-free syrup. Not too shabby. We'll be cleaning up the diet by this weekend and see if 2011 is any better.
