4 organic, soy-free, coconut fed eggs cooked in 1 Tbs coconut oil
9:00AM
4-hour youth basketball refereeing

7-ounce sirloin steak with pepper seasoning, 1/4 cup grilled green beans and 1/4 cup mashed cauliflower with 2 Tbs butter
3:15PM
2 ounces sugar-free dark chocolate
NOTE: Today was the last day of the season in the Upward basketball youth league at my church. I really enjoy being a referee in all of the Upward sports and soccer will be starting up in mid-April. Running around chasing a ball may not sound like a big deal to some people, but it's an area of ministry for that Lord that I'm able to do thanks to healthy low-carb living. If I was still 400+ pounds, then there's no way I'd be able to last for four hours refereeing these games--but now it's something I actually look FORWARD to! I wouldn't trade this experience for anything and I am grateful my 39-year old body is able to be of service in this capacity.

Bless you for your service, Jimmy! :) My boys used to play in Upward Sports and I know how hard it is sometimes to get referees, coaches, etc.
Great going on your weightloss and keep up the great work.
Be careful with your back and baby it when it comes to moves that may twinge it. :) Pain sometimes means cut back or stop so just be aware (speaking from experience here. :) ) Hope it is feeling some better.
Thanks! I'm the only member who consistently refs...it's a big need and I love it.
The weight loss progress has been amazing.
Definitely taking it easy with the back. Can't wait for my massage on Thursday. :)
Jimmy,
Congratulations on your weight loss for this week at a whopping 5.2 lbs. You are more than half way towards your goal of 230. You are a true inspiration to me, since I have been trying to lose 69.2 lbs, since July of 2010 and I am only 19.8 lbs away from reaching my goal. I will be monitoring your weight loss as motivation to achieve my final push to my ideal weight. Thanks Jimmy for being a such a great and inspirational example of the efficacy of the low carb lifestyle.

BayouBabe, I'm certainly no expert on doing that sort of thing. But you can e-mail someone who I think does a fabulous job with this named Kevin Kennedy-Spaien at kevinks@discoflight.com who you can hire to consult you on sprucing up your blog to make it everything you want it to be. He's the BEST and will give you that boost you need.
