I'll keep a better eye on the meat intake with this new strategy.Jimmy Moorehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08590225257991702645noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6942973737566951064.post-58209756198659324582008-10-27T10:52:00.000-07:002008-10-27T10:52:00.000-07:00Good call Jimmy! Nuts are a good protein source as well, but they aren't as good as animal proteins.

Here's the meat for the past week:
* small burger patty with bacon
* 3-ounce sirloin steak strip, 1/2 crab cake
* bacon in a salad
* Chicken on a stick, meatballs
* bacon in a salad
* Bacon, sausage, ham (better day)

That honestly looks like a daily (or at most 2 days) meat intake for me. I am not a carnivore -- any look to my mydailyplate demonstrates. I hope the new menu has more focus on meat protein and fat, and less on dairy fat. You may be a bit more sensitive to dairy than you think. Cream is limited on Induction to only a few TBS for this reason.

Good job Jimmy for remaining perseverant through adversity!Kenthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11401322696942839172noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6942973737566951064.post-6202466602294299612008-10-27T09:44:00.000-07:002008-10-27T09:44:00.000-07:00I'm with Snowdog . . .I'm with Snowdog . . .OnPointhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12004246828850540138noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6942973737566951064.post-49977883573248890202008-10-27T06:51:00.000-07:002008-10-27T06:51:00.000-07:00I won't believe I've lost anything, SnowDog, until...I won't believe I've lost anything, SnowDog, until I break past the 257 mark. I've been up and down all year right at that level but never below it.
